Wellness & Self Care during and after breast cancer
Living healthier and maintaining well-being with and after breast cancer is essential.
Here are some steps you can take to help maintain your health and wellbeing.
1.) Understand Treatment Side Effects: Learn about the short- and long-term side effects of your specific treatment. Whether it’s surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, or anti-estrogen therapy, knowing what to expect can help you plan.
2.) Emotional Support: It can get hard, but you got this! Rely on your friends, family, caregivers, and health care professionals for emotional support. Breast cancer can be emotionally challenging, and having a strong support team is essential.
3.) Balanced Lifestyle: Prioritize your health by maintaining a balanced lifestyle. Exercise regularly, get enough sleep, and eat a healthy diet.
Remember, taking care of yourself is extremely important during and after breast cancer treatments.

Breast cancer is a disease in which cells in the breast grow out of control. There are different types of breast cancer. The type of breast cancer will depend on which cells in the breast turn into cancer.
